Hi! I’m Karime, a curious and creative soul originally from Mexico, currently living between countries and chasing new experiences. I’m a political science researcher, poet, and lover of good conversations, long walks, and hidden local cafés.

I’ve lived in several countries including Poland, the U.S., and now Denmark — and every place has shaped a part of me. I deeply value cultural exchange, kindness, and hearing people’s stories. I’m super respectful of people’s space and homes, but I also enjoy connecting with my hosts — sharing meals, music, or even cooking a good Mexican dish for you.

Besides my academic side, I’m very down to earth. I enjoy running, strength training, journaling, and learning about different ways people find happiness around the world. I speak Spanish, English, French, Polish (un poco!), and I tried Chinese and Russian.

I’m on Couchsurfing not just to travel on a budget, but because I genuinely believe that the most memorable part of a trip is the people you meet. Looking forward to sharing good vibes and stories!
