ABOUT ME

I am originally from Lebanon, a small yet beautiful country in the middle east. Now, I am an engineering graduate student in California, USA. If there is anything I LOVE in this world, that would be travelling. Meeting new people from all over the world and learning about new cultures have always been fascinating for me. I have been travelling since I was 17, and I have to say it is the best way to learn about life, people, and myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to travel whenever I get the chance (to escape from coursework and research!). I live in a one-bedroom apartment in Washington DC, and I am excited to host international friends whenever I can. I have to say though, priority is for students; it is only because I've known what it is like to be a student for a very long time :) (a lot of energy and little money!).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few CS experiences so far in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Las Vegas, Chicago, and New York; they all were super awesome.

Interests

TRAVELLING! swimming, kayaking, skiing, hanging out with friends, meeting new people from all over, cooking, energy policy (prepare yourself for a long conversation), sailing, windsurfing, coffee, wine, music, camping, gym, photography, beach ... in a very random order.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

witnessed a midnight sunset and had whale meat for breakfast in Norway; was sitting next to Al Gore (literally on the seat just next to him) for continuous 6 hours in a room which about 40 presidents from all over the world.
