ABOUT ME

We are a young couple who traveled for 16 months around Asia and Australia. We got to know couchsurfing as surfers and now it is time to host. We would really like to meet the people of the world. We are nice and friendly. Ralf easily connects with all people and likes to make jokes. Karin is a bit shy, sweet girl with a lot of questions. We are not really party people. But enjoy nights with a few beers in good company talking about traveling, movies, music etc. Enjoy Life is really our motto.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

We traveled in Myanmar for 4 weeks. One day we took a slow ferry from Mandalay to Kyaukmyaung (10 hour trip). There were only local people on the boot. We soon became friends with a women, her little sons and her niece. They hardly spoke English but that was no problem. When we left the boot it was like leaving family. A real special experience. An other great travel experience was when we were traveling in Nepal. We ended up in a little village. Only tourist there, nothing to do so we were hanging around our cheap guesthouse. The owner started a campfire and we ended up talking about life in Nepal compared to life in Europe. We really like these little things. Just connecting with people and having a good time.
