Before I start - I'm not a big fan of self descriptions because you just have to meet in person. And I apologise for my clumsy English ...

I've grown up on a small farm whereI love to visit my parents from time to time. If you should ever be my guest you'll have to come along. It's beautiful!
Anyways - I'm fond of animals (became a vegetarian at twelve) and nature's beauty. I care about environmental issues and I'm trying to maintain a conscious way of life (reducing waste, avoiding plastic, taking the bike rather than the car etc.). I'm very outdoorsy, so join me for a hike, a bike tour or some climbing if you feel like it!

Studying art in Munich for five years was kind of a small adventure but I became fascinated by the mere infinity of artistic expression. I love that flow feeling you can get when creating something yourself, though I do that way too seldomly these days. Today I'm working as a teacher near Regensburg. 2016 I took a year off and went traveling the Americas (been to Canada, the US, Argentina, Chile, Mexico ... and back to Canada)

Hanging out with friends, simply talking (I'm more of a listener) over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, cooking together or going out is safe to make my day. Rather than collecting hundreds of contacts I'm looking for deeper connections in friendships :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

When traveling on my own I often had to think of that German proverb that goes "Geteiltes Leid ist halbes Leid. Geteilte Freude ist doppelte Freue." Which basically means that everything (including rough times) is better when you've got someone to share - no big secret, right?
During my first solo trip I was blessed to meet many great and inspiring CSers who welcomed me into their homes and shared their lives for a bit. It was really them who made my travels worth the while! I simply love meeting new people and learning about their lives, their stories, passions, dreams, fears ...

I hope to do a bit of surfing while I'm traveling or just simply meet up with locals for a meal/a cup of coffee or whatever else comes our way. Back in Regensburg I'll gladly meet up and show you around town and if you need any advice on what to do while in Bavaria feel free to contact me!

On my 30th birthday I dove from the 5m platform at the local public pool for the first time in my life (thanks to my friend Mariano who talked me into it.) I'm happy to enjoy the little things :)

I can teach ...: German or French on a basic level - art history - basic techniques of rock climbing (for beginners) - yoga basics

I can show you how to ...: milk a cow - cook marmalade - basically use a dslr camera - use Photoshop and InDesign - play the guitar or piano, both on a veeeeeery basic level...

I'll gladly prepare breakfast (I'm usually the first one up in the morning anyways) or cook a (hopefully) delicious vegetarian dinner for you and your family or friends. Aside from that it's simply good to hang out for a while and talk; share thoughts and discuss opinions - keep your mind open.
