ABOUT ME
Although I have a child myself I'm very childish in some ways. Don't be embarrased if you are in my company and I start singing on the street, or if you're asked to join in a child's game on the living room floor.
Usually I've got a lot of stuff to do, but I'm glad to leave it behind and do something adventurous.
Feminist.
Star Wars Fan, obviously.
Potterhead, currently enjoying Alohomora's Podcast and the global re-read of the entire series.
Pen&Paper RPG Player, occasionally, when our GM is not away larp-ing. ;)
Nerdfighter for some reason or another
library lover, which doesn't mean I'm never late for returning stuff to the library, I just don't mind paying late-fees, because they'll only buy new stuff from the fees I can borrow and then bring back late and pay for that, so they have more money for more media and so on. Brilliant!
experienced in and dedicated to Attachment Parenting, a choice that is less about babywearing than about listening, taking my child's and my needs seriously and not worrying about cleaning windows when there are books to be read to and potions to be brewed.
Gamer Ally - I don't game much myself but I tell everyone why gaming is fun, can bring new skills, friends and experiences and will not ruin our young people - the same way that books didn't.
Board Game enthusiast. Don't stay here if you don't want to play.
I long for conversations that revolve around what's going on in the world, meaningful experiences, plans for the future, and for amusing stories. If we share a field of interest, awesome, let's dive into Patronus-discussions and rants about the lack of diversity in the media.
Adding your Hogwarts House to your message will make answering your request a pleasure. ;-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Building connections between the people I know makes me happy, seeing how well my friends get along with each other and the new ideas that emerge.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
we hosted a CouchSurfer from New York in Summer 2010 and she was so legendary funny and attentive that we didn't want her to leave, so she promised to visit us. Greetings, Claudia!
Since then we hosted people from ages 19 to 55, from the US, from Finland, from Germany as well, and they we're awesome, friendly and had a lot of interesting stories to tell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I brought those legendary Star Wars meetings into life we had from 2001 until 2009 and three years we had this extra geeky network party at my friend's place - four girls, two boys, three nationalities, tons of fun!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about books, kids, teaching, extraordinary people who do amazing things and about make-believe-worlds.
I want to learn more about photography and film-making, unusual jobs, how to make a living doing the things you love, about travelling and what people enjoy in other places.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm very good at finding exactly the one thing you need, if it's special food or a certain book or an interesting place to visit.
Countries I’ve Visited
