I’m a Ukrainian girl who moved to Italy and lived in Verona, Padua, Bologna, Munich, Vipiteno in the Alps, and beautiful Istanbul. Currently living and working in England near Lancaster. I've studied Translation and Interpretation and I'm enjoying the freelancer life, traveling and meeting new people. I also love volunteering and have worked as a rescuer in the ambulance for a while. I love children, animals (usually during my travels I pet sit), history, deep conversations on spirituality, or anything meaningful to people I talk to. Living near the Alps I also developed a love for hiking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Places are made of small details, culture, traditions, and people. To visit a new place without meeting what makes it alive means losing the most interesting and peculiar thing. I want to meet, share and receive in a genuine exchange of ideas and experiences, building friendships or acquiring acquaintances in the whole world. I that Couchsurfing is proof that trust in humans is still possible and that hospitality is not a forgotten ancient concept. I'm on Couchsurfing since 2018 but didn't use it much because usually I would pet sit. Now that my traveling periods are shorter because of work, I'm trying to use this website to continue to enjoy meeting locals and live full immersion experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a bit incoherent with my taste in music and books. I love the genre R&B, but I appreciate a bit of everything from light rock, to gospel and classical music. Regarding books, I love the series of Lord of the Rings (both movies and books), and in general fantasy. Non-fiction about history, biographies, self-help and Russian literature. My favorite movie is Ben Hur.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer some funny storytelling, cook anything traditional ukrainian or italian and delight with some piano or guitar playing if the person has instruments and love music.
