Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very eclectic taste in music. I listen to rock, country (older), electronic, reggae, jazz, hip-hop and all kinds of Latin music (especially Cuban), but my all time favorite is the Mexican genre: música ranchera.

I am not a film snob but I find the majority of contemporary Hollywood kind of intolerable. Some of my favorite directors are Pedro Almodóvar, Luis Buñuel, Michaelangelo Antonioni, Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson.

I enjoy reading classic literature, contemporary fiction and historical non-fiction. Authors and books are too long to list, but my favorite book is Dharma Bums by Jack Kerouac.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the basics of playing ukulele (I'm a beginner myself) as well as cook any of the many Thai and Mexican dishes I know how to cook. I can teach and educate about Tequila; the process of production as well as how to enjoy and select a good product. I would love to learn to sail, woodwork, blow glass, weld, or any farming related techniques. I would love to share stories, meals, recipes, laughs and exchange ideas.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Meals, stories, music and any manual assistance in the kitchen, with pets, in the garden, etc.
