About Me

Originally Russian 🇷🇺
I am an open-minded and easy-going person. I love meeting new people, seeing new places, sharing emotions and unforgettable experiences.
I love music and art, yea it probably sounds super vague but it’s hard to explain something like that over text. I went to art school, so ever since then painting has been one of the things I truly enjoy doing. Painting is my kind of meditation, so a bunch of paintings that I have I give to my family and friends.

Traveling is my other passion and I intend to do a trip around the world (one day :D)
Last year‘s graduate I am finally free to pursue my dream and passion that I’ve been aspiring to for quite a long time.

Also, I am happy to have several good friends living abroad so that whenever they come to the city where I live, I meet them and try to show them the city from the local's perspective.

I think life is so full of great people and exciting experiences and all of that is just waiting for us around the corner:) We just need to be patient and open to new people and circumstances that come into our lives

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some people take Couchsurfing only as an easy and cheap way to get accommodation in the place you're traveling to. But I think it's more about meeting the local people, cultural exchange, learning things you might never see on TV and maybe even creating long-lasting friendships. I believe Couchsurfing is such a great project to unite travelers from all over the world. I’m so grateful to have met a lot of fantastic people through Couchsurfing(I still talk to most of them) and I always recommend Couchsurfing to my friends.

The more I travel, the more I realize how important it is to know at least one local person to give you a tip about visiting a city, if you need it. Maybe also show you some places not all tourists know about, or just be there for you in case you face some difficulties. So if someone comes to the city I live in, I try to be that person as much as I can. Even if I’m busy to show someone around, I try to give tips and make sure a person doesn’t get lost or deceived by someone who can take advantage of tourists. And that’s the reason why I love Couchsurfing- it helps people from different cities or maybe even countries meet each other, have fun, explore new cultures, fall in love with new places and give each other a hand in case someone needs it.

Currently, I don't have an option to host people but as soon as I get it, I will definitely change my status to "accepting guests" :)
