Overview
About Me
A short version: A curious young soul exploring the wonders of this world.
A longer one: I was born and raised in Kazakhstan. When I was still in school, I went on exchange (FLEX program) to a small town of Lone Tree in Iowa, USA, and spent a year living in a host family, studying in high school and learning all about Americans and their culture. After that, I went home, graduated from my school, and applied to the American University in Bulgaria, where I now study Business Administration and Journalism and Mass Communications.
During my second year of studies, I went on exchange via the Erasmus+ program to Volda University College, Norway and am currently studying here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After my first couchsurfing experience, I realized what amazing adventures you can have if you just think outside the box and open yourself to the world. It's so much more fun and exciting to travel without having everything figured out and following a perfect plan. It's amazing to hear people's stories and meet someone from the other side of the world who shares the same views or interests or has the same taste in music. But it's equally exciting to meet someone who thinks completely differently and learn something from them and, perhaps, teach them something that you know.
Interests
I am a dedicated journalism major person, who loves writing, talking and watching cat videos. I am a reporter for my school's magazines/newspapers and have three different radio shows with different topics. I love meeting new people and making new friends, even though I believe that you can only have a small amount of close friends. Others are just acquaintances. Music is one of my biggest passions, and I listen mostly to some indie, alternative and whatever else I am in the mood for. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love some alternative or indie rock and some techno remixes or acoustic covers. Watch all kinds of movies, but preferably the ones with minimum violence -> thus, no horror movies. Love reading, but can't read too much while I'm studying :(
What I Can Share with Hosts
The biggest reward there can be - chocolate.
And, of course, crazy stories, sometimes funny jokes and chocolate. Oh, I think I already said that.
