Hi, I am Karina!
I was born in Berlin and grew up in southern Germany.

It was always my dream to travel abroad to Japan once I finish my school education.
I want to go there for one year and learn new things about japanese culture, improve my Japanese and make a lot of new friends! I am very open-minded and willing to see the world. So let's have an adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On my journey, I don't want to travel. I want to experience!
I think that couch surfing is a great opportunity to meet new people and exchange the culture. As I am probably travelling alone it would be nice to have someone around.

I have been learning Japanese on a community college in Germany. I think to truly being able to speak a language you have to practice a lot and converse with native speakers. I hope that we can have some good conversations! If you want, I can give you a crash course of my native language and maybe I can prepare a typical german dish for you too!
