Hi everyone :)
Below is a short description of myself and my life so far:

I'm 18 years old and grew up in Germany Baden-Württemberg. Until I left for India, I've been living at home with my parents, a little sister, a dog and two cats.
In tenth grade I stayed in the USA as an exchange student for 10 months. There I joined Highschool (Sophomore class) and lived with a wonderful family, with whom I still have contact. This exchange year was such a great experience for me that I decided to travel more after I had finish my german school.

The german government supports volunteer services in foreign countries, so this is a great opportunity for "Just-Graduates" to see a little more of the world. Since I've been to the States already, I wanted to try out something different than I'm used to. So India it is!

Here, in Vellore, I'm working with another female volunteer at a girls hostel and teach English at two schools. Now that we've been here already for some time we want to start travelling and see more of this fascinating country and culture.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I like that couchsurfing is not as impersonal as hotels for example and that you get to meet new people, who you wouldn't probably have met any other way.

Música, películas y libros

I don't really have one defined music taste, on my phone you can find everything from german rap to Adele. I've been to a concert of the Imagine Dragons, since then I'm kinda stuck to their music... As for movies it's almost the same, everything that looks interesting to me I watch aaaaaand a lot of movies look interesting to me.... so I've seen quite a few until today. But even more than movies I enjoy watching series. I'm getting really caught in the stroylines and characters, and I love to talk about my favorite ones. As for books, I'm not reading as much anymore as I was used to, but if you have a good book to recommend I'll definitely read it;)

Algo increíble que he hecho

I don't really know what to put here, because for me there isn't really the ONE amazing thing in my life I could share here.

It's more a lot of smaller experiences I've made throughout my life and the people that shared these moments with me that define me. For example dancing at an american Prom, or skiing in the Alps, or spending a whole day in bed watching one episode after the other with my best friend, only leaving the bed to get the pizza from the door downstairs.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

As I wrote before I love to talk about good movies, series or books. Even if I haven't seen/read them yet but you are a good storyteller you'll have my full attention.
Apart from my "storyaddiction" I enjoy baking and cooking and I'm always happy to learn something new or share one of my grandmas cookie recipes.
Further I love to talk English and improve my skills. I also understand French quite good but since I spoke so much English in the past and didn't had the opportunity to talk French anymore I forgot a bunch.. But still if you are willing to practice with me and you have patience to listen to my weird mixture of "German-English-Frenchisch" I'm more than happy to learn it again.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

For once I enjoy talking about places I have or haven't been yet and look at the pictures taken there. I like sharing life experiences and talk about the future, past or present.
I'm a passionate card or board game player (but if you cheat I won't be your friend anymore ;P).
And because my mom is a super nice person (and wants me to become fat), she send me a huge christmas package with german candy, whom I'm more than willing to share. I already gave some away to the girls, but it's still way to much.
