ABOUT ME

I'm 32 years old, was born and grew up in São Paulo, Brazil.
I’m currently living in Matsuyama, Ehime, Japan studying cooking. I’m staying here until the end of March 2020.
So if you’d like to meet me to have a cup of tea or whatever, hit me up 😊

My current hobby is sports. Ive been swimming and going to the gym. I’d love to go back to yoga though.
I’m a newbie in skateboarding. Although it is objectively embarrassing to learn how to skateboard as an adult, I love it. It’s super fun.

I’m also learning how to play the acoustic guitar. I’ll be the happiest person the day I play a reggae song and sing along.

I also love learning new languages and the nuances and differences among them.
I'm learning German slowly since a few years now.
But of course, Japanese is my priority right now.

On my free time, I usually like doing something low key. Sitting back and talking to friends in a relaxed environment is one of my favorite things. But once in a while, I really like to go a night club and dance my self off. It really lets all my energy flow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The first time I surfed a couch was in Berlin, Germany in January of 2013. Ana was super nice to host me for 5 days. We really hit it off. We'd spend hours talking about everything in life and she showed me a fresh and different view of the world. I spent 2 more months in Berlin living somewhere else, but we would meet almost every week to go iceskating. We put up the weekly iceskating event on couchsurfing and made new friends. We are still keeping touch.

The second time was in Florence and a great guy hosted me for about 3 days.

Both experiences were great.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I feel guilty to say that I haven't done much since my trip to Europe in 2013 here on couchsurfing. But I plan on moving to another place and then, I would really like to host.

Interests

My most current interests are Yoga and eating cheese.

I'm interested in a lot of things most young people are such as traveling, going to music concerts, night clubbing, sitting back eating and talking to friends, meeting new people.

I love drawing although I'm not very good at it.

I love diversity. Growing up in São Paulo was a good start. Now I would like to explore other countries and cultures.

I'm currently learning German and I'm still not good at it, but eventually, I will be. I don't speak Japanese very well. But It's something I definitely have to learn before I die.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One one the most breathtaking places I've been is the Kilauea Volcano in the Big Island, Hawaii. It's been active since 1983 and I went up there to see the lava flowing. It is the most beautiful natural thing ever. I couldn't believe I was just 70ft away from the lava.
