About Me
Hello Everyone,
I am Karina from Nicaragua and there is no life without travelling. I enjoy watching playing soccer, watching movies, and learning about cultures and languages.
I am currently living in Arkansas; therefore, I will use my time to travel throughout the U.S., so far I did a road trip form Arkansas to California and did another road trip within California. Nevertheless, that is not enough. I need to keep seeing the world, and its magnificent people, culture.
Please help me achieve this dream!

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy mystery books and movies, such as the Prestige, the Illusionist, and pretty much any movie featuring Johnny Depp. I also like classics such as the Breakfast Club and Gone with the Wind. Also, movies with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino.
Music: I like the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Billy Joel, Placebo, U2, Frank Sinatra, The Killers, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys...and every now and then my latino side comes out and listen to Brazilian music...maybe salsa.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This winter break I did a roadtrip from Arkansas to California (Arkansas-Texas-New Mexico-Arizona). In Route 66, we were able to feed wild donkeys! I also went to National Parks such as the Petrified Forest. Then, I did another roadtrip in Northern California and the Bay Area!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to teach people about my culture because this is an exchange experience. It's not about just receiving, but also providing and leaving part of my culture behind to the places I go.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share my culture and language with hosts, so that sometimes we can reduce the stereotypes that sometimes people believe about specific cultures and that we can learn together :)
Spanish lessons included hahaha
