ABOUT ME

I am trying to find out what I want in life, I mean, what I wanna study and eventually maybe work with later. If there was a job were I could get paid just to travel and enjoy life, that would be perfect for me :) But who wouldn't want that? I have trouble staying too long at one place, it seems as though about one year at one place is enough for me, should be challening later on in life, we'll see. I love love LOVE music, I'm above average interested in it. I love travelling, meeting new people, getting to know new places. Also, where ever I travel I have to see the local church, I just love churches, it gives me peace to just sit there.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed a few times and I loved it. Looking forward to that one day in the future when I live in a place where I can host people myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed a few times and they were all very sucessful! What a great idea, and a wonderful way to get to know a place! It's so much nicer to sit in someone's living room and drink tea with them than to sit in a impersonal hotel room, or to walk around in a city with a local who can show you all the hidden treasures than to walk around on your own.

Interests

Music! Travelling! Hike in the mountains of Norway. Spend time with family and friends, learning, getting to know people, read, drink tea.

Also, people should know that I am a vegetarian. I have come to decide that I don't want to support the meat production industry. It is one of the most pollutive industries in the world, it pollutes even more than cars. And the animals suffer. So there you go : )

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Maybe "(500) Days of Summer", and I love "Thelma and Louise"! And also "Lords of Dogtown".

Only read curriculum these days. Not super interesting unless you study nursing.

Music: I am above average interested in music, music is a great, great part of my life. A few keywords these days - Volcano Choir, The Lumineers, The Dø, The Rolling Stones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Leaving home as a 17 year old to spend a whole year in the US.

Working as a volunteer at a pre-school for underprivileged kids in Puembo, Ecuador, for 4 months.

Walking all the way from where they dropped us off by the cable-car, through the jungle to Aguas Calientes, in Peru, not far from Machu Picchu, in the dark! They all said we would make it before sunset. We didn't. It got scary.

Forgetting my camera when I was going to see Machu Picchu..

Hitch hiking from Moss to Ålesund in Norway. It's about a 10 hour drive, we made it in 12. Hitch hiked most of the way back as well. Fell in love with my own country on that trip, beautiful both nature- and peoplevise, come have a look!

Teach, Learn, Share

Three very vise and important words. We have all something we can pass on to the people we meet, something we can teach them. We all DEFINITELY have something to learn from everyone we meet, and to share these experiences.. Wow, let's get going!
