About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world and meet wonderful people along the way!

ABOUT ME

I am a very open minded, fun and easy going person. I appreciate wonderful music, good friends and dancing all night. I also feel strongly for people's rights, such as the Chilean Student Movement and OWS around the world. Art is a very big part of my life, I mostly photograph these days, but I also love to paint and draw. I'm into tattoos, so I do a lot of tattoo artwork and hope that one day I can be a tattoo artist. I also studied Esthiology at Aveda Institute in Washington, DC, so I know a bit of Makeup artistry and skin care/facials/spa work. I was adopted at a young age from Chile, and lived in the United States my whole life, and now have moved back to my home country in the hopes of learning more about myself, the country, and hopefully getting to meet my birth mother! I like to spend my days by the ocean or exploring nature in the woods, coming home to a glass of delicious wine and good music and working on my art. I also love electronic music, classical-electronic music, french electronic music and electro-swing. I also like more calm ambient music when I am working on my art. I can be somewhat shy once you meet me, but I am a very outgoing person and I love to be around people and dance and have a good time :)

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live, I have a very spiritual and open minded outlook on life. I appreciate and respect nature and others. I value others' outlooks on life and find people very fascinating. I believe you can learn more from traveling the world and meeting people and seeing the beauties of nature than any College can ever teach you. Turn off the TV, Get outside.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some really wonderful people here in Chile through couch surfing, people from all over the world and Chile. I have had very positive experiences with Couch Surfing.

Interests

Art, music, photography, the ocean, marine biology, literature, foreign films, fashion, the 20's, the 60's, revolutions, movements, gay rights, equality, nature, Chile. I am pro-green, I believe in natural remedies as opposed to taking aspirin or Rx drugs. I prefer to smoke a joint and drink some coca tea than take pharmaceutical drugs. I have a very Buddhistic way of thinking, however I cannot call myself completely Buddhist because, well, I LIKE TO DRINK. But I normally choose a good Honey Beer or a fine Chilean Sauvignon Blanc. I have recently become a fan of Piscolas and Cuban Rum ;) I also enjoy Absinth here in Chile on special occasions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I defeated my fear of heights after 23 years, and now do rock hopping and climbing along the ocean of Chile. I have petted and helped find Chilean Rose Tarantulas at Jorge Alessandri Park in the Bio Bio Region of Chilean.I spent about 4 solid months mushroom hunting all over the Bio Bio region of Chile and found a species of mushroom that had only been reported to be found in California!I passed through the doorway of St Peters in the Vatican in 2000 and received plenary indulgence and sang to the pope in Polish. (I mean pretty cool even though i'm no longer catholic/christian).Touching the Tower of Pisa.Watching a man in Florence, about 70 years old, making beautiful cameos by hand and seeing how much work and care going into make them. And then I bought two from him.Wine tasting and seeing how it is made at a private little vineyard in Guarilihue, Chile. The first time I ever picked up a paintbrush and used oil paint, I created a masterpiece that i had no idea I could do. My first painting is still my best painting.
