Hi! My name is Karine, you can call me Ka :) I'm 22 years old and I'm from Brazil. At the moment I'm in a exchange at Lisbon - Portugal, from my university in Brazil. While I am not studying and working, I try to visit new places in Europe and adventure myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because that is the easiest way to travel cheaper for longer. I am here for the people, for the connections and finding out new things I normally would not being a regular tourist in a hotel.
I believe that the people that makes the place what it is, so i want to make the most beautiful connections with different people on the way.
I hope to know new cultures and lifestyles, to learn from them and share experiences.
I want to make friends for life and help whenever I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left my home to live alone in Portugal for 6 months. I traveled by bus to Buenos Aires in Argentina (it's a long way), and I made a backpacking with my family in Thailand. I visited an elephant sanctuary, snorkeled with many different fishes and I skied in the mountains of Mont Blanc.

I can teach how to cook, take nice pictures and live life to its fullest!
I am open to learning about different subjects and I am very curious.
