I am 28 years old and getting married to my best friend, Ethan, this upcoming August (2016). We have a wonderful (demon) cat and hope to add a few kids to the mix soon.

We have both traveled to other countries in our past and now that we are no longer students we want to get back into travelling, experience other cultures and meet new people.

When we are not out doing things, we are playing video games, or being geeky.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is nice, but meeting new people and getting to truly experience their culture is the ultimate travelling experience.

Interests

I have been watching a lot of Korean Drama these past few years, and would like to learn to speak it.

Geekiness is a part of who I am, therefore I am always up for a night of board games or video games.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I am a fan of any music with a piano playing; my favourite composers are Yiruma, Brian Crain, and Howard Shore. However, if I am in the car driving, my radio is on Country music.

Movies: I am more of a fan of Tv shows, as I find movies to be too short, however movie series I like, such as Lord of the rings, Harry Potter,... As for Tv shows, I am quite a fan of Sci-fi, so I would probably say my favourites are; Star Trek, Stargate: SG1, Farscape and Korean Dramas (yes I know they don't fit in with the sci-fi genre.. but there just soo good!

Books: Ultimate favourites: Ride the Wind by Lucia St.Clair Robson & Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While I was in Costa Rica, I got stung by a scorpion, bitten by a bullet ant, and came face to face with a wild panther (cougar)! That was scary!

I can try and help with French or English. I can also help with knitting and crochet (and no I am not an old lady!)

I love learning new sentences in any other languages, my ultimate goal for languages is to learn to speak/understand Korean.
