ABOUT ME

I can't live without mountains and sea, without walking in the rain and reading. I used to hitch-hike to get a wonderful feeling of freedom and luck following me, but now this time seems so far away. I've exchanged roads for planes and ended up in Bangalore, India, where I've spent last 3,5 years. Now I'm back to Saint-Petersburg, my beloved native town with its amazing never-ending summer sunsets and melancholic never-ending winter nights, studying photography at Photofaculty.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The idea is to maintain kindness equilibrium: we should be more patient and helpful and return a kindness not necessarily to the person, who was kind to us, but to anyone — so it will be like infinite sequence of kind deeds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch-hiked all the way from Saint-Petersburg to Tibet, Lhasa, and then to Angkor Watt in Cambodia.

Spent the shortest night in the year at Cape Froward, southernmost point on the mainland of South America.

Watched sinrise on the top of a hill in Mrauk U, Myanmar, where the valley down was looking like a wonderland of elfs and fairies.
