I am a sunny, friendly Aussie journalist and English teacher looking to explore the world, far and wide, meeting and helping locals along the way. I am an enthusiastic person, fast learner, and a hardworker. I am quick thinking, good with my hands and able to do almost any job to a high standard. I love food, photography and making new friends.
I plan to spend the next year, or two, or even three, exploring Europe and making lasting memories and connections.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think you learn more, gain more and grow more anytime you can meet local people when you travel. I want to exchange cultures and ideas, food and friendship with like-minded people around the world.
And, of course, to travel for as long as possible, keeping costs low is key. As a couchsurfer, I am happy to help my host in anyway I can, whether with some housework, cooking, English practise, or sharing my many other skills.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most music, but listen to a lot of cruisy folk music. My favourite Spotify playlist is "Sexy as Folk" and I recommend it!
My favourite book is Alice in Wonderland - it's such a great adventure and reminds me to always be curious.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed a snow covered volcano while living in Japan. Seeing the steam rising from the caldera while snow drifted down was pretty amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach photography hints and tips. I can take beautiful photos of my hosts and their friends, families and lives. I can cook a delicious meal. I can help with housework and chores. I can help practise English. I can help with any writing projects.
