Hello! I am Karina from Peru, I am a student at the TUM in Germany! I am a curious, outgoing and friendly woman who likes to meet and interact with new people and their cultures. Also, I enjoy dancing especially with friends. I would like to contribute to the world working in environmental energy (now taking that specialization).

Currently, I am planning to take vacations after working full-time and before the winter semester starts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created the account of Couchsurfing in 2017 but it is the first time I am going to use it, many friends recommended it! I really like to have the genuine experience when I travel, I like to talk with the locals and go to not very crowded and touristic places. Of course, museums are excluded from the places I avoid.

I like Pulp Fiction, The Revenant, Harry Potter. In books, I love La Fiesta del Chivo from Mario Vargas Llosa and Not is no enough from Naomi Klein.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Peru, I actively participated in social activities. The experience I like the most was Crea Mas, where we teach math and values to children of public (and unfortunately bad) schools. Also, is called "Crea Mas" because we encourage them to create more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to explore the city I am living in, so I know good spots and also restaurants. Also, I offer them to meet my international and local friends.
