Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of the time my couch surfers/ees are good friends, and that's been just great. It's nice coming to a city far away and finding a familiar face, but it's also wonderful when there's no one I know and finding friendly (though unfamiliar) faces. In Morocco I knew nobody, but once I found myself in a hot hot desert town sharing mint tea and dates and bastilla and sleeping with all the other women in the house in a room completely covered in cushions.

Interests

I'm interested in the edges of cities and also volcanoes and food and people and farms and stories and poems and art and trees and stars and jokes and birds and coincidences and kids and cats and questions.
