About Me

I am a 23 year old electrical engineer, currently living in Zurich, Switzerland. I was born and raised in beautiful Vancouver, Canada, where I developed my love for nature and adventure! I am an avid traveler, hiker, canoer, and people meeter. While I am an engineer by training, I also play classical piano and church organ at a semi-professional level. I sometimes perform piano in small concerts for solo pieces and with vocalists. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know new cultures, people, and places!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to explore new cities, landscapes, and meet new people while doing so. As I currently live in central Europe, I would like to explore more cities close to me. It is very difficult to really get to know a city without knowing the people. I hope that with Couchsurfing I will be able to manage both traveling to new places as well as meeting new people to enhance the experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed to the top of Black Tusk! That's a mountain near Garibaldi lake in Canada, at 2,319 m above sea level. First day of hiking was to a base camp near beautiful Garibaldi lake, the second day was to the summit and down.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn German and read books, and I also enjoy to cook nice foods. I can teach piano!

I can share many adventure stories about hiking all over Canada. I have hiked a lot near my hometown in Vancouver, Whistler, and in Switzerland. I can also share a good appreciation for many different types of music, from classical composers like Schubert or Beethoven to jazz pianists like Oscar Peterson or Nina Simone.
