About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find the world's most beautiful brick (I love bricks).

ABOUT ME

I like humans, most of the time. And even when I don't like them, I can muster the ability to acknowledge the extreme complexity, beauty, comedy, and tragedy of their lives.
I've led wilderness trips (hiking and canoeing) in the beautiful north-woods of michigan and Wisconsin.
I think it's fabulous how all matter gets rearranged over the eons, forming at various times things like human-beings, tea kettles, newspapers, et al.
I once had a pet rabbit, I'm not sure she ever loved me, but I loved her.
Since the commencement of my formal education, I've been trying to take the reins of my own education. Sometimes this requires writing syllabi for myself.
I have a fair bit of knowledge about nature (esp. How it functions as a social construct), architecture, contemporary art, and edible plants in michigan.
I like hearing people talk about their passions.

PHILOSOPHY

Do the best thing.
Ask: what is the best thing?
Don't: ask that question so much that you are paralyzed.

Acknowledge your finitude.
