Well, I had an active Couchsurfing profile that seems to have been wiped clean when they went to pay-model. This is saddening.

I am a dietitian by trade and musician by passion that loves to travel! I live in Missouri but I love going all over the country and soon to be the world. I don't ever use lodging or hotels and love saving my money for experiences. In the past I have simply slept in my car or done urban camping or bikepacking. I love to travel and meet new people. I enjoy playing music, bar-going, and hiking/biking and snorkeling. Anything outdoors. I travel often, usually alone but I'm open to all walks of life and interested in learning about all of them so never think that anything is taboo with me.

I used to travel very often and couch surfed basically by word of mouth. I love meeting new people and establishing friendships all over the country. There is nothing better than knowing someone wherever you're going. I love playing live music too and couch surfing has been a great way to meet other musicians and people with similar interests. Plus it beats urban camping where cold, police, and weather are a constant stressor.
