ABOUT ME

I like to think I'm an easy to talk person with a wide range of conversation, welcoming and always ready for having fun. At least, that's what I'm trying to be :).

I love sharing ideas and point of views if this is in a positive way, learning new things, new customs, new skills, anything and everything!

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is simple: respect, listen, learn, share and do what you like to do (but don't piss people off).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have a big house so we can host people (and we like that!). Well right now it's complicated as there are some "work in progress" in it.

Even when we can't host, we still can hang out and help with advice about the city and its surroundings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This account is quite "empty" because we use to CS (as both hosts and guests) under Frédérique's account (my girlfriend: fred.henrottin).

We like hosting people from all over the world because it's a way to travel even if you stay at your place :).

兴趣

Photography fills a big part of my time. I'm not making a living out of it yet but I'll keep trying :).

I also play framedrums (and used to play didgeridoo and flutes), so it's another of my main interests, especially ancient, mid-east, oriental and world music (and dnb, dubstep, post rock, ...).

An other interest and a growing one is discovering the world in which I live, so in one word: traveling! That includes culture, food, people, music, landscapes, and thousands of etceteras. And in the same time, I always want to improve my own language and personal skills, working to grow as a more open and wise person (that's the hard part actually :D).

I also work as a freelance web & print designer, so I'm interested in all kind of design and technologies, communication, psychology, ergonomics, usability, optimizations, and so on.

音乐、电影和书籍

I'm a big eclectic in this area, so I won't be able to list everything.

Music, the big thing for me. I'm into ancient and mid-east music mostly as I listen most of the time NIN and The Prodigy. Other great influences are Jordi Savall, Dead Can Dance, Faun, Daemonia Nymphe, Chemical Brothers, FSOL, ... Actually every kind of music can touch me as far as it is true.

I like the movies that doesn't give you all the answers at the questions it brings. For example, Prometheus is the target of hatters because it does bring a load of new questions and no concrete answers. I like that, it makes your brain work. This isn't restraint to the SF but Mr Nobody did that to me as Blade Runner or Twelve Monkeys.

I also like movies that open my mind and bring a new point of view. Into The Wild, Home, ...

And finally (for movies), the classics: Star Wars (don't try to trick me, there were no new trilogy), Alien, ... ; the post-apocalyptics: 28 Days Later, The Road, ... Loads of movies, loads.

I also like to read even if I don't have a long list of books as I sometimes have so much in my mind that I can't focus on the book I'm reading and it takes me ages to finish one book. In the books I loved: Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrel ; Assassin's Apprentice ; Harry Potter ; Le Feu de Dieu ; Le Comte de Montecristo ; La Peste de Camus ...

Definitely, it would take more than a profile to discuss that and it's worth it :).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I made pizza with true Italians in Tuscany. I crossed the Camargue on horse back. I played onstage only one month after having touch an instrument for the first time EVER and survived it. Since, I recorded an album and crafted my own instruments. I... gonna eat now, I'll add more later!
