ABOUT ME

Currently teaching in Singapore but heart remains in Cornwall where I am from. Returning home in 12 months to upset my loving sister in the cafe we share, grow vegetables and walk endless miles with my dogs. Ready to start phase two of my life, traveling, learning more about me, yoga, languages, people, life, bing, bang, bong and along the way surfing as many waves as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Have just read the Glass Castle which I thought was brilliant. Watched Franky and Johnny last night - still love Claire de Lune. Hate writing favourite music as I appreciate the art and skill in all musicians. Am a wanna be frustrated musician and am learning bass lines for some ska songs . Loving the trip down memory lane that is The Specials and The Beat and Reel Big Fish have been a great find. Like Paul Weller said, "Once your a mod your always a mod."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I watched Maoris sing to Zulus - that got my hairs standing on end...

I almost drowned but didn't - that felt pretty amazing!

I am desperate to learn piano, how to connect plumbing, how to wire a house, how to read music, how to speak Spanish, how to cook the perfect poached egg, how to stop snails without chemicals or throwing them into my neighbours' plot, how to bake cakes, how to sit in the cow without my knees point to the heavens and how to be happy with what you have...
