I’m a prairie girl who loves to explore the world. In university I studies Intercultural Studies and have always enjoyed meeting people from different cultures and learning about what makes them unique. When I am at home I enjoy spending time outside, going camping, hiking, and cross country skiing (when the weather permits), growing sustainable food, and listening to live music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find that one of the most enriching part of traveling for me is getting to know the people of a place. My favourite travel memories have all been experienced while staying with local people. I also enjoy getting to know people of other cultures when they pass through my city. It's a way to get to know the world, even without traveling!

Interests

I love listening to people's stories and finding out what makes people unique. I love spending time in nature, no matter the season. I love simple living and am learning to grow and produce my own food. I love experiencing new cultures and meeting the people who make the culture what it is.
