I'm doing an apprenticeship in Berlin in order to become a midwife, something I am soooo looking forward to, because being a midwife is one of the dreams I have for my life! Also because as a midwife you can work everywhere, because babies are born all over the world, so it's a job I can also travel with! I'm very interested in Europe and it's capitals, I guess, because of all the museums you can go to there. :)
I am very open, curious and am perfectly good on my own, but I also enjoy company very much if you have free time to spare! I love talking and discussing with people and having a good time. I always have a book with me, just in case. :) And I love walking around cities I don't know, I can walk for hours, just looking and discovering things.

I want to meet cool people all over the world and get to know them and their cities.
And also I think it's an awesome project!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love music and listen to music all the time. :) But mostly more calm music (I'm never able to "define" my music taste, i guess alternative.. or so!) Some of the bands I like are: The Paper Kites, Sufjan Stevens, Jack Johnson, The National, Soko, Nick Drake, Norah Jones, Tom Rosenthal, Zaz, Boy, Donovan (but only the early stuff), AND classic music! (SCHUBERT!)
I also love reading, I enjoy reading Thomas Mann (my favorite of all authors!), Hermann Hesse, Patti Smith, J.D. Salinger, Hanns Josef Ortheil, Christoph Ranzmayr, Sylvia Plath, Emily Dickinson, Wolfgang Herrndorf, Martin Walser..
Movies I like: Into the wild, The perks of being a wallflower, ALL movies by Xavier Dolan, Leon-The Professional, Before Sunrise

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One summer I hitch-hiked through France (mostly Korsika) with some friends. We slept on beaches and lived out of backpacks, that was so amazing! And I hiked alone in the mountains in Laos und slept in the huts of the people in really remote villages there, who invited me in, which was absolutely one of the best things I have ever done in my life!!
And seeing births while I did an internship in a birthroom for 2 months.
