About Me

FIRST OF ALL: We are located on WAIHEKE ISLAND, so not on Auckland mainland. That means you need to take a ferry to get here. A return ticket costs 36$ and it takes minimum 35minutes.

I'm easy going, like to be creative, I love dancing and meeting friends.
I'm honest and like to help where ever I can.

I grew up in Germany but live in New Zealand for over 3 years now.
My boyfriend and I live in his house on Waiheke island (Paradise). We usually host on our days off (Monday&Sunday) this way we can make the most out of it and show our surfers around this beautiful place.
It's nice to cook with friends so now and then we do invite people around for shared meals.
Rahn (my partner) works in the native tree nursery and I work as a Gardener so we both have knowledge about local plants and are happy to share this.
I don't like dishonest and unrespectful people but otherwise I'm really tolerant and enjoy meeting new people.

I'm often slow in the things I do and sometimes really unorganised. (I guess that is something that can get annoying)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the idea of it.
To meet and get to know people, love, share.
It shows the good sides of our society

Teach, Learn, Share

I know the foundation of knitting and crochet.
Juggling is pretty easy to learn and I do have the required balls to show how it works. ;) the same with the Ukulele.
