ABOUT ME

I consider myself as a normal girl, who likes to reflect and care about important things in life. I like to meet new people and learn whatever I can from different cultures and experiences of the people I know. I also consider people fascinating and I am usually positive about them. Right now I am an international student in Taiwan for almost 4 years now, and this has been the greatest experience I've had in my whole life. It allowed me to have a better perspective about the world, meet all kinds of people and broaden my view about many things in life, especially the way how people behaves, interacts and love when you are away from home. I also like to travel very much, whenever I can. I like to see the world and experience all kind of people and cultures. I am into learning languages, traveling, and photography.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I get to know about CS through friends who have tried it and I thought it was very interesting. I am about to travel for the summer and would like to give it a try.
This way it will be a different experience for me to meet and interact with new people, besides of the "normal" way when you travel and meet new people on the street or tourist places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is the first time I participate, so far I have no experience but really look forward to it!

Interests

Languages: English, Chinese, would like to learn German and Italian.

TRAVELING: You can take a look at my pictures to see what I like to do and the places I have been to, maybe someday you can also go there and share your experiences!!

I also like photography very much. Although I am not an expert I like to take many pictures specially when I travel and particularly landscapes or cities. I'd like to capture that special moment and place where I have been. I also enjoy editing the pictures I take.

Lastly but not less importantly: My family, friends and boyfriend are the greatest assets I have and taking care of them is my quest. :P

I like to read specially romantic novels. My favorite book is Green Darkness by Anya Seton (1972)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A very touching moment for me was when I got to see and touch real tigers in my trip to Thailand in 2009. This is my favorite animal and always wanted to be close to one of them. When I was a little girl, there was a circus who had a tiger and by that time it was in my city, and I desperately wanted a picture with this amazing creature but my mom didn't allow it. Now that I could travel, I achieved this goal of having this pic with my fav animal :D

Every time I go and visit a different place when I travel is a very memorable and amazing thing I do only because of the fact that I have the opportunity to do so :).

Teach, Learn and Share
I believe we can all learn from each other. Sharing your experiences and life with other people is an amazing teaching-learning process.
Life is a school that you might never get graduated from, because as long as you have air in your lungs, dream and live... you will always be learning new things everyday.
