ABOUT ME

We've lived, loved and learned from the Midwest, but Its time for a change. Simone's roots are in the South (she is of Cajun descent) and Karl has family on the East coast. Ultimately we'd like to experience as many regions of the US as possible.

We've spent the past 8 months divided between the South Shore of Lake Superior and Paris, France. Between the both of us we have lived in the middle of nowhere and the center of everything, and everywhere in between. We adapt to all surroundings and find the beauty in everything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was inspired by my experience abroad and would like to return the favor and open my home to other travelers, but we've got to have a couch before we can welcome and surfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my semester abroad in France, I (Simone) was able to take a two week road trip around the country with three of my friends thanks to couch surfing. We had the adventure of a lifetime and met a lot of wonderful and fascinating people. I learned so much, and now there is no way I'd rather travel. Couch surfing offers the most authentic travel experience.

Centres d'intérêt

We both enjoy being out of doors and being active. We also love being on the road, and we're eager to do more traveling. When stationed in one local, Karl plays music, does a lot of reading and loves watching documentary films. Simone likes to dance, ride her bike, cook and take photos.
