There is so much we miss these days...and moving through the world as quickly as we tend to, we can only blame ourselves. If I can help it, I will walk the distance first and get lost on a cobble stone street. I will make friends with a stranger and learn from the words and experiences of others. I will find my center and a sense of peace when I immersed into the unknown. And I hope that I will always remember to show kindness and keep and open heart :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since my introduction to couchsurfing I have participated as a surfer and as a host. I have also advocated the couchsurfing community and its benefits to others who are not familiar with couch surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had good, bad, and amazing experiences on both ends. I am grateful for all of the people who have opened my heart and mind to how amazing the world is. As for the negative experiences, I am equally grateful for the learning curve and continue to believe in the community that couchsurfing creates for all travelers. I am hoping that the world will continue to take me willingly into her arms and bless me with like minded souls...And at the end of this journey, I look forward to repaying the kindness to all those who seek a home away from home.

I booked a one way ticket to Barcelona without ever yet having owned a passport...and then continued around the world without a plan :)
