ABOUT ME

We're a late 20s, early 30s couple living in Berlin, Germany. We fell in love with this city when we visited it 5 years ago and decided to up and move here. It's been great, not always easy, but always a learning experience. We both work with kids, teaching English. Doug loves to cook and play music. I like to read, write, and play the ukulele. We have a lovely dog. Her name is Olive. She's awesome. So, if you're going to stay with us, we ask that you at least like dogs a little bit.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

music: rock n' roll! lots of 60s psych rock, R&B, northern soul..I also enjoy old country-Carter Family style, singer songwriter types, good lyrics usually catch my interest..I like good beats too-hip hop, but only if it is smart and catchy...but I guess sometimes catchy will do...

authors: kafka, keroac, bukowski, eggers, austin, joyce, loy, pynchon...

movies: there are too many that i like. some favorites though-the big lebowski, blue velvet, the royal tenenbaums, mildred pierce, pulp fiction, the searchers, butch cassidy and the sundance kid...
