ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded woman with many interests;
I am adventurous and like exploring on the one hand, but homey and caring on the other hand. I try to integrate sustainability into all aspects of life.
I lived most of my life in Belgium, but in 2012 I left for Central America in search of adventure, waves, sun and another way of living and working. During my travels from Guatemala to Panama I did all kinds of volunteer work, mainly in animal refuges, on ecological farms and in hotels. The last 4 years I have been living in Panama, mostly in the little fishing and surfing town of Santa Catalina where I am able to combine many of my passions. I run a bed and breakfast, I have two dogs and surf almost every day.

One of my life mottos is "do something wonderful, people may imitate it".

PHILOSOPHY

I think it is very important to respect all human beings, animals and nature; to be honest to yourself and to others.

Animals, nature, vegetarian and vegan cooking, travelling, ecological agriculture, reading, dancing, building, creating and decorating, architecture and planning, sports (surfing, sailing, swimming, snorkeling, cycling, running, walking/hiking, kite surfing, snowboarding). I also am a advanced scuba diver and yoga instructor.
