Overview
About Me
Come visit me or be my host. I may be tall, but I'm friendly as fluck.
I am fluent in English and Latvian. Probably will understand you if you are German or Russian speaking. Will especially understand your language if you like sports and be active yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Nothing new... Couchsurfing is an awesome way to meet new people in need of a stay from other countries. One can both be helpful and get to know the background of the visitor - his country, life experience and who knows, maybe a place to stay, while traveling.
And the same I want to experience while I'm traveling - to see how is the everyday life of locals, what is their way of living and what can I bring back as memories, when I am finished hitting the road.
Interests
Do you know that sport, which is played on beaches and where most think that the aim is to hit as many strokes as possible? Badminton. Well, I'd be able to tell a few things about it, because for some time I was the best at it in Latvia :)
Besides loving sports, I also enjoy reading a book or two and picking some strings on the guitar.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books and my real taste in music I started discovering only after highschool. I love to read some books that give me an idea of how people live or used to live - may it be a war book, a biographical book, autobiography or even a novel written 50 years ago.
As for music, I like to get pumped up in concerts with occasionally finding myself in a mosh-pit. So yes, I like rock. But just as well a slow indie or Michael Jackson song might boost the mood.
