My name is Karl and I am 30 years old, affectionately nicknamed Karlos by my friends.

Currently backpacking around South East Asia on a 12 month career break 😃

I love spending time outdoors being surrounded by nature, trees, the sounds of birds and water all these things make me feel peaceful. My dream home would be a glass box in the middle of the forest. I love to watch the landscape change with the seasons and I am passionate about wildlife and nature.

My perfect day is a wildlife safari . I could do this everyday forever and I would never get bored.

I love to travel and see different cultures, taste different foods, listen to different music explore different places and meet new people.

I like to pay attention to the small things in life, I’m the guy that whilst everyone else is scurrying over the bridge in a rush, you can find me looking over the edge into the water to see if I can catch a glimpse of some fish or looking up in to the trees at the colours of the leaves.

Love wildlife documentary’s particularly interested in big cats lions, leopards, tigers and so on. Massive fan of David Attenborough 🙌🏼

Love movies, lots of different styles and genres action, horror (occasionally), romantic comedy, thrillers all sorts Im really into films. I love all the Marvel films as it reminds me of my childhood I grew up watching those cartoons with mum after school and we still watch the films together now which is cool.

Movies; The Matrix (classic) Gladiator (also classic) Blade, Machine Gun Preacher, The girl with the dragon tattoo, Prisoners, Jurassic Park, Kill Bill films, Batman Dark knight and Dark Knight Rises, Avengers Movies, Casino Royal, The Raid 1 & 2, The Bourne films, Man on fire or anything at all with Denzel Washington in it the list is endless I like a wide variety.

TV shows; Game Of Thrones (although very disappointed with the final episode) The Walking Dead, Sense 8, Spartacus, The Originals, Westworld, The Handmaids Tale, Luther, Skins again I could go on forever.

I have been lucky enough to experience many amazing things such as the Empire State Building NYC, the CN Tower in Toronto, taking a boat ride in to Niagara Falls, scuba diving in Barbados, standing on the edge of Victoria Falls in Zambia, sunsets and wildlife safaris in Botswana (my absolute favourite) but the thing that I am most proud of in life and what brings me the most pleasure is my work.

I work in a school for kids with Autism and have done for almost 10 years now. I’m passionate about helping these young people work towards their goals and aspirations and I absolutely love to be a part of it. Knowing that I have contributed positively to the lives of these young people I find the most rewarding thing I have ever done.
