We are a couple from Brazil. We live in Sao Paulo, Brazil's largest city. We are 25 and 21 and been together for about 2 years. We love new adventures, knowing about other cultures, costumes and ways to enjoy life. Canada is a dream for the both of us. We are planning to travel to this amazing country in December and we are wishing to have a great Canadian experience, meeting new friends.

My partner, Walter, is a civil Engineering student at Mogi das Cruzes University. He works part-time as an operations agent at a train station. He has been to Toronto and to other cities of Canada. He had an amazing experience there. He fell in love with the Canadian culture and he misses Canada so much. In there, he stayed in a humble home of a Pakistan family. During his stay, he learned more about their amazing culture. He also studied English for one month. Walter is a proactive person, very focused and is always ready to help.

On the other hand, I'm Karol and I'm a veterinary medicine student at Santo Amaro University. I work part-time at a veterinary Hospital of the university in the surgery sector. I love animals and I love saving them. I've never been to Canada, and going there is a dream come true. I'm an organized and responsible person. In addition to that, I love making people happy, taking care of the animals, cooking (especially sweets), shopping etc.

In general, we're very dedicated, happy, extrovert, clean and sociable. We also study English everyday with Filipino teachers via Skype. One of the main reason why we want to go to Canada is that we also want to improve our English skills. Our English is well enough to understand.

In our free time we plan to visit all of the places of Toronto, and maybe I'll get to see Niagara Falls for the first time. We also hope to have our first experience with the snow, it's another dream... and ice skating too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We discovered the Couchsurfing short time ago and we saw in it an excellent opportunity to put into practice what we love do. We love know about other cultures, live new experiences, learn new ways to see life, make new friends from other places that can teach us new things and we can talk about everything, vice versa. Our main expectantion is have a great canadian experience in this time, improve and talk so much in English to get better our English skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can teach a little bit of Portuguese for who want to learn, brazilian culinary and curiosities, and other things we know about life. Here in Brazil we have a sweet call "brigadeiro", I'd love to make it to our host, and if you like chocolate I'm sure you'll love it!
