Currently moving to Mérida. I am moving again to Yucatán, previously I lived in Chiapas, Tabasco and Veracruz, and Quintana Roo. I spent my time between these states. I love going out to restaurants, going to parties, the sea, watching movies, showing my culture and learning from others. I believe that by knowing about other roots we can become more empathetic, understand and, above all, get out of our comfort zone. I love art, singing, dancing, and exploring countries. Every day you learn something new, and I discover new things about myself, so I am on this path of personal development.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Previously I was in an international organization called AIESEC and there, I realized that helping others, sharing ideas, showing our culture and opening up to new perspectives is part of growing and acquiring knowledge at home. I really like knowing other perspectives of the world, I believe that all people deserve to be known and they all leave me something to learn. I like this community, and you create a family at a distance 🧡

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like electronic music and also songs to sing (the genre doesn't matter), I can sing anywhere without shame and also dance. Regarding movies, I really like documentaries or those based on real events. I'm not a fan of fiction or action movies. In books, I like everything about entrepreneurship, technology, leadership and financial topics. The books I have are usually learning books and others are novels because they were given to me by people I have met within the community. Which, to me, is worth pure gold.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently went to the “Arco del Tiempo” in Cintalapa, Chiapas, we were 48 hours without internet, electricity and water to drink. We walked 10 km and then rappelled. I knew that our body is great but it showed me that it is even more so when a mishap happened during the trip. So it has become an epic hike. Seeing the moon or the sea gives me a lot of peace and I enjoy the company too. I love creating spaces in which all people feel included. He currently led a Marketing team in 3 states of the Mexican Republic, and for me it is a great pleasure to share ideas and strategy, so the days are incredible sharing with incredible people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach them my Mayan culture, my grandmother is Mayan and my mother prepares delicious Yucatecan dishes. My family loves meeting people from other countries because they also like to learn about other cultures even though they don't speak English, only Mayan-Spanish. I am available to show you the city 🏙️ as long as I am not working, otherwise I could give you tips and go out in the afternoons.

I live with my family currently , so you ll be spending time with a my family , it means with mum, my sister and 3 dogs gonna be there.
