When I was 12, I cooked the first time the meal on my own. It happened because my mother was ill and couldn't get out of the bed. I have 3 brothers and 5 sisters. I was the oldest, so it was my duty to take care of them but since this time cooking became for me the way of expressing attention and care.

I like to get to know people, places, customs. Couchsurfing seems to be right tool to do it.
I am in the habit of keeping my home open for near and fair friends. Why do not widen it for other people who need stay in Warsaw (or wherever I would stay) ?
