ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Karolina. I work in IT, I studied Mathematics and Computer Science, but I have a lot of other interests as well. I love music, I've sung in choir for 6 years, I also used to go to music school. I like learning languages, developing knowledge about cultures, visiting new places. Travelling is my big passion. My biggest dream is to learn Hindi and visit India.

PHILOSOPHY

1. Develop all talents I have been given.

4. Don't discuss with people who are too stupid to understand what I mean.
5. Never do things which I don't feel like to do and don't have to do (stop convincing myself that I have to if I don't!))

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunetely the city where I grew up isn't famous, so I didn't host often. But everywhere I travel I always look for a host on CS because each place what I visit seems to be more wonderful when I meet new people there. Everything I am travelling for (improving my speaking foreign languages, developing knowledge about culture, history and places) is in people. Not places, but people are this what makes you having unforgettable time. So mainly I am a CS fan :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I think now about this, it's hard to believe that several years ago I could live without CouchSurfing. I have met so many so fantastic people that sometimes I wonder if it's not a kind of sect associating best people around the world ;) Althought I have travelled using CS for a several years now it continuously delights me so much that nowadays when it's so hard to trust anyone, there are still the people who are able to trust even to completely strangers, let them stay in their houses, spend time with them like with their friends and treat them like the members of their family.

I can teach you my mother tongue - Polish. But I have to warn you that it's both very beautiful and also very difficult language. I find joy in sharing all knowledge I have in any field.

Or dance, although I have never learnt how to dance salsa I feel like the music speaks to me and I know how to move. If you feel the same, maybe we can meet and enjoy dancing together :)
