I’m from Belgium and live in the lovely city of Antwerp. I’m 29 years old and I’m a GP (family doctor) but I now dove in student life again, studying tropical medicine and international health with the aim of working in humanitarian settings in the future. I also volunteer a few weeks every year in Moria refugee camp on Lesvos, Greece.

I’m an extrovert, cheerful person, I like to joke around but am also a good listener and love to have open discussions about... anything. I try to be kind to my fellow creatures and the planet that we’re on.

I enjoy cooking vegetarian/vegan, learning new languages (currently Arabic), reading, playing the violin, climbing, yoga and running. I'm trying to add meditation to my daily habits.

Meeting the people is as big a part of traveling as seeing the land for me. I find that most of the time, the best memories and stories of a trip are made with other people. I learnt so much about countries by connecting with the people living there and I wouldn't want to miss out on that!

I've been inactive for some time on CS but would like to pick it up again, really looking forward to it. Currently don't have a fixed place to stay so unfortunately cannot host myself.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

During a trip in the Sinai Desert, we were camping under the open skies. The annual meteorites storm in August changed the beautiful desert sky in to a fireworks show. It was stunning.
