Hi,
I am Karolína from Czech Republic. I love sports like kayaking, climbing, swimming, surfing (I have never surfed, but I would like to try it) and I also love music. I am saxophonist and singer for many years and music was always part of my life.

2 years ago I met few people and they are my close friends now. One day they came to me and told me about their plan. The plan was: ,We want to travel around the world for a year and make some experiences there."

The plan was growing up and we were ready for adventure (our parents were not). We wanted to go to Norway, Canada, New Zealand but other places are good for us too. We just want to do a big step in our life and make our dreams come true, find out what we want to do and have some fun.

I hope our parents will be okay with this plan.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen almost everything! I have probably million songs on my Spotify and I like to make playlists.

My favourite films are Point Break (the new one), Shutter Island, Into the wild, Eagle Eddie, Interstelar, Inception... I like every Marvel movie (the best is Captain America - Infinity war and Avengers 3). I like watching travelling videos on youtube and some videos on TEDx (if you don't know what it is just google it and watch something).

I read books written by John Green (Yes, I know it is mainstream, but I like his books). I read some interesting stories on internet blogs because on the internet you can find a lot of inspiration and motivation. But for me is the best to listen podcasts and audio books.

When I decided to go to Norway by myself

I am musician so I would be pleased if I could play and sing with somebody.

I used to swim for many years. Maybe it will be challenge for me but I think I can teach somebody basic skills in swimming.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you our city and recommend some cool places (like pubs, clubs, statues or just beautiful places). I also like to speak in English and I need to be better in speaking so it would be good for both of us. I can't share accomodation because I live with my parents but If you want just spend time in Hradec Králové and talk about plans, experiences and other things you are welcome!
