My name is Karolina but my friends call me Karo, Karol or Pony. I'm a passionate sketcher and a graphic designer. My dream is to illustrate children books... or at least one during my lifetime. I love to draw and I can lost myself in it.
I'm positive, open minded person who can be satisfied with the smallest things in the world. I love to laugh and my best memories are associated with my Bff and me laughing out loud. I'm good at friending people and I have a list of 'the best people in the world' which I'm constantly adjusting. I think the life is actually throwing good people at me so I can put them on 'the list'. My life is consisted of various, strange/weird/amazing life situations which one day I'm planning to turn into best selling book. I am a gatherer of experiences and I believe every single one of them add a new value to who I am.

音乐、电影和书籍

I looove music. I can't live without it. Most of my day is filled with it. And the spectrum is also quite wide. Jazz, blues, rock, classical... even rag time! It's not the genre that I like... it's the song that make me fall in love with it. So usually I don't say I like this but don't like that. Play me your music and I'll tell you if I like it.

The same rules applies to books and movies. I will read and watch everything as long as it is interesting for me. Now I'am also on a mission to read everything Kurt Vonnegut or John Steinbeck wrote, but I'll also read good reportage or something funny and light, scary and not serious...
Movies... I love a lot of them... and a good tv series as well. I enjoy good Anime or old black and white movie.
So as you can see I'm very open minded when it comes to... pretty much everything.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

uhh... i wish I could do something extraordinary. I guess I'm not bad at saving animals. On one December cold night I rescued a run over cat from the middle of the road. I though it was dead but when I get out of my car to move it (so the next fast coming car won't get a chance to make it totally flat!) I realized it's still breathing. So I took him and rushed to a Vet... and in my Utopian vision of the world all Vets are rescuing animals for free. Well, in the real life that don't happen much often. The whole weekend I spent driving from one Vet to another and waiting for the poor animal as he had a broken jaw and needed surgery. But it was worth it as few days later I have found his owners and they were more than grateful for saving their favorite pet! So I gained good friends in the end!

I also saved a Gecko and a pair of small birdies :D

I've learnt how to swim at the age of 32! which is an achievement for me as I thought I would die without that skill! Now I swim in the sea almost every day (in season which is May- end of October)

I climbed Saulakopf peak in Austrian Alps which is 2516m (8 258 ft) with inflamed sinuses, leaking nose and major headache... I did it simply because my friends were going and I didn't want to miss out on anything because of stupid sickness.

After getting a flat tire on a highway I changed it myself without panicking, calling for help or even making my self dirty. And I was wearing white shirt and the car wasn't mine so I didn't know much about it. That was my second time changing flat tire, first alone. I was very proud of being as stoic as I was!
