Resumen
Sobre mí
Heya!
My name is Karolina. My homebase is in Wroclaw, Poland. I'm fullfiling my passion and work as a psychotherapist. I continued my learning journey on post-grad studies in clinical sexology and I'm now exploring the idea of expanding my toolbox into mindfulness based approaches.
I'm a very open and active person who loves trying new things. I love widely understood culture - music, movies, museums, architecture, history, books... I used to travel in an intense way, with a tight schedule - now I enjoy leaving my plan half-empty, so I can simply see where the flow of reality and people I meet along the way might take me.
I also really like cooking, especially thai and indian cuisine. I'm vegetarian, borderline vegan. I love sports - snowboarding and mountain hikes are my main source of happiness during winter season and dancing is essential in my live - contact improvisation is my newest discovery, I'd love to share what I know about it.
Also I never say no to a mug of tea ;)
Disclaimer though: I do not respond to messages from people that don't even pretend to have read my profile. Because like, what's the point then?
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and gaining new perspectives. It's amazing to get to know a new place through the eyes of someone who's been there for a long time and to see your same old town through the eyes of someone who's never seen it before. I'm here for the adventures :)

Música, películas y libros
I like most kinds of music, but my favourite are definitely electronic and alternative sounds (Jon Hopkins is a star, also Romare and Khurangbin hit very close to my heart, as do many others). When it comes to movies, my all time favourite is Grand Budapest Hotel.
The book I'll always love with my whole being is "How I Came to Know Fish" by Ota Pavel.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I went to carpentry classes and made my own cutting board - still really proud of that. Also travelled Australia solo for almost a year. (the cutting board is round though, isn't that dope?)
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I would love to hear about your country/city, and in exchange, I can tell you about mine. I have plenty of good stories to tell and I can teach you how to fold an origami crane. I often travel with a box of paints and I love creating art together. I'm a good listener and I enjoy getting deep in conversations.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I can share my time, stories and have some laughs. I would love to cook some traditional-ish polish food (veganised!) or enjoy a night out together. We can teach each other some catchy phrases in our mother languages.
