ABOUT ME

My friends call me Karo, not Karolina. Or they call me Kinga, that's my second name. I love to read, laugh and dance - and of course being with friends.

And I totally (!!) need to see the world. I want to travel all over Europe, all over North America and also Canada, and I also need to see Russia, and maybe even India and Australia. I haven't seen a lot of Germany and Europe yet - to be accomplished. The world is so beautiful - I'd be regretting it, if I'm old and haven't even seen a little part of the world.
But being in hostels oder hotels isn't the same as couchsurfing - you don't get to know the people living in the country oder the city. And that's why I'm here.

I try to have spare time to host surfers // I travel as much as I can, am interested in meeting new people and share opinions on whatever the conversation leads us

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Sept. 2013: was in London with 2 friends and Simon hosted us - couldn't be better!
Feb. 2015: Roadtrip through Russia, mostly couchsurfed. Was definitely great, thank you all, guys! :)

I once built my bed on Ikea Kallax shelves so that I have more room for books. Mostly I'm a (YA) fantasy/dystopian reader. But I also enjoy YA contemporaries as well as retellings and sometimes classics (mostly German and Russian ones), though I haven't read many of the last yet.

Movies: bring it on! I like comedies, romances, arthaus movies - completely depending on my mood and often trying something new! And I'm a little bit of a series addict, sometimes.

The matter with music is: it also totally depends on my mood. So it could be nearly everything, depending on how i feel.

Everyone said I'm crazy and mad - I may be, but I cruised through Russia as a Transsib-roadtrip all on my own at age of 20 without a spark of fear :)
