Hello everyone! I'm Karolina a travel enthusiast.

I'm Polish currently living in Bulgaria. I'm keen on new languages and different cultures. I'm excited about visiting new places and meeting people. I'm aware of environmental threats that is why I appreciate every moment surrounded by nature. I enjoy taking care of animals too. My other passion is a dance; I use any opportunity to practice it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm a traveler. I'm not only interested in new places but also in the customs and habits of local people. I want to discover and learn different approaches to life. What is more, I believe in local wisdom. I'm convinced that every tradition has its own purpose, that is why I wish to recognise the plurality of them. Besides that, I love spending time with locals and share the experience!

Interests

I'm thrilled to try new things and find new interests. I love nature and animals. I believe that wild animals should have their own space in the world that shouldn't be affected by humans. I'm crazy about dogs, especially my own Gabi :). Besides that I'm fond of cultures and languages, I would like to know all of them. At this moment I'm working in Sofia. I'm almost a constant volunteer, I like to help and learn new things. I enjoy rock climbing and dancing as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Filling 'my favorite music, movies and books' section always confused me. Maybe you wonder why? It's because I like listening to music, reading books and watching movies but I can't choose any special kind of it. If it's about music, I like hits from the '80s, '90s and currents hits too, but I can't list the titles or singers. Movies... I just like good movies and the one which makes you speechless. The same with books, I enjoy reading books that can make an impact on my life or those written in foreign languages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things in my life are my travels. Which by the way are usually spontaneous. Hitch-hiking, climbing mountains for days, meeting new people, discover nature, be a part of local activities... all of that is amazing. It's hard to choose one moment, one day, one thing. I think that maybe the most amazing thing is that even the situation was hard, conditions were terrible and travel by itself was exhausting I had a spirit to continue it till chosen destination.
