About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Try. Take chances. Be happy. MAKE DO ;)
ABOUT ME
Hi guys, :) My name is Karolina. Currently I'm a journalism student at University of Warsaw, I'm earning my master's degree here.
In the coming year I am going to study in Zagreb, Croatia as a Erasmus student. (yay!)
***
Last year I took a break from studing, cuz I needed just travelling, reading, thinking and believe me, it was the best year in my life :)
To be less hippie, more rational, I was working for a while also. But it was cool, too ;)
PHILOSOPHY
Do what you are afraid of, that is the only way to overcome your fears.
Collect moments, no things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
About surfing: I'm travelling a lot, so it would be great to meet new people. If you are not able to offer me a host, but you can show me around the city or have some lunch with me, I would also love to do it :)
About hosting: If you gonna to visit Warsaw, you can send me a message. I'm not always able to host, but often I can offer you some help or spending time together.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had some CS experience and that was pretty awesome ! Last two holidays we were travelling with my friends through Europe by old VW van.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can talk about it for hours.
That is so many books I want to read and so many films i would love to watch, that I'm afraid, my life's too short.
Generally I prefer non-fiction literature, but my favourite book is sooo fiction.
I'm a big fan of Woody Allen, Jim Jarmusch and Emir Kusturica.
I was weaned on rap music but recently I have tasted some classic rock, punk and indie rock and I like it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After our car had been broken, me and my friends decided to change plans and travel to Balkans by hitchhiking. We repacked and started a trip in few hours, without any knowlegde and preparations for that kind of journey.
I think that people I met on my way there, were the most amazing, surprisingly-hospitable, kind and wonderful experience in my life.
Since that time, I am a fierce fan of hitchhiking!
Teach, Learn, Share
There is plenty of things I want do learn like languages: Italian, Russian, Ukrainian also.
Always want to improve my English, too.
I can share my knowledge about media, books, films during drinking tea/coffee/bear. Anyone need it? :D
Maybe I can help with Polish also. haha - Anyone need it, again ?
