Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Staying with and getting to know locals wherever you travel opens up a whole new dimension to your experience of the place. I have also gathered quite a repertoire of stories from my travels and love sharing my experiences and thoughts in sometimes lengthy conversations with people. The world is a mysterious place, always good to gather some new insight!

Interests

Really into anything outdoorsy and artsy. Hiking, contemporary arts and getting lost in cities have become a common thread of all my travels. Always exited to try anything new, whether traditional activities or cuisine. Relaxed dinners, chatting away or just a couch to sleep on is also more than enough.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite film directors at the moment are Pedro Almodovar and Aki Kaurismäki, plus I'm into documentaries usually on any subject. Most of the books I'm reading have to do with my field of studies, however I'm also into poetry. I'm a music lover and often one to listen to the lyrics. I love psych rock, indie electronica and some West African vibes· Would love if you'd share some of your favourites with me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to help around the house, whether cooking, tidying or doing some housework. Once even buried a dog in exchange for some avocados and gratitude. Singing, humming, whistling, dancing, laughing, playing music (can't play any instrument, but I try), or blabbing away are also my fortes if you'd enjoy some. I'm also able to stay quiet (once did for 30 days) and somewhat unnoticeable if that's what you'd prefer.
