I'm a bit shy but open-minded girl who likes to meet new people so that we can share our life/travelling stories and experiences with each other.
I like getting to know new people, places, nature and especially local food, which can be a part of the reason for my little travelling obsession. I love to learn foreign languages and discovering different cultures.

Some more facts about myself: I'm a little bit afraid of spiders and party balloons.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Since I'm studying Ethnology and Folklore studies at University, I'm interested in discovering and learning new cultural traditions and customs of visited country. So when I'm in a foreign country, it is interesting for me to meet with locals and visit some hidden (=not tourist) spots.

兴趣

During my free time I enjoy being outside (walking along the city streets/river/nature) with my friends or on my own, visiting concerts or ART exibitions.

I also enjoy bouldering and would love to learn rock climbing. :)

MUSIC
David Bowie, The Shins, Muse, The Pogues, Flogging Molly, Lou Reed, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZAZ.. I'm also fan of soundtrack music (Danny Elfman, James Newton Howard, Alexandre Desplat, Howard Shore, James Horner, John Powell).
However, I like to listen to almost every music genre you can think of - including Classical music, Rock, Indie, Blues, Alternative music, Jazz, Swing etc., so it is very much likely that we find type of music we can enjoy together.

BOOKS
I want to read almost every book that I find so.. yeah. I primarily like to read fiction, comics and travel books.

MOVIES
I enjoy visiting movie festivals and going to independent cinemas, or just watching movies at home. I'm not very much fan of horror movies (I tend to have nightmares afterwards :)) but apart from that I like to watch almost everything.

I love exploring cities but besides from that I love hiking. I appreciate beautiful nature and mountains. Last summer I was hiking in Slovakia mountains where I have been sleeping under the stars which was very much enchanting.

I love food! And because of that I try to learn to cook. Even though I'm still beginner, I think I can prepare something eatable for you. :D Moreover I enjoy baking so if you are as big fan of pastries and chocolate as I am, we should get along well. ^^
