I am 23 years old, I grew up in Quito, I studied Art History in college in Switzerland and lived in New York City after graduating. I work as a freelancer writing articles for a magazine, editing, and doing translations. I started a small book exchange of books in English in Quito. I have traveled to four continents and more than 30 countries but there is still much of the world I want to see!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel to Indonesia and Japan for an extended period of time so I am looking to meet new people where I go and hopefully save some money on lodging.

Interests

Museums, music, I'm a big foodie, I like learning new languages, love reading, I also enjoy going to the beach and walking in nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music except for metal and country. One of my favorite authors is Roxane Gay, I like reading anything on feminism. Movies are hard to pick, I can watch anything from documentaries to Hollywood, I'm not the best at watching movies with slow plots but I am always willing to try, I have watched some good ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I camped on the Okavango Delta in Botswana for three days and saw lots of wild animals, it was the first time I saw an elephant so close to me in the wild.

I love to cook and also like learning how to cook new dishes, I think food is the best way to share and get to know someone's story and their culture.

I speak spanish, english and italian if you want to learn or practice.
